Great but..

Great game but a few suggestions that have already been made:
Controlling the pieces would be nice if it was easier - it got boring juggling stuff around when moving them was slow and awkward - yes it did give a spacey feel but that was only neat for 30 seconds before you get irritated by the movement system.

Good idea - I liked the puzzles and how it got more challenging, adding more levels is always a suggestion.
Graphics were great and gameplay (ignoring movement issues) was well thought out.
All in all a good job.

Good, addictive and annoying

Be nice to have a "continue from last level with 0 score" option as getting through 5 levels really upsets you when you die cause' you wanna' finish it but you have to get there ALL over again.

Nice game, jumping was a bit slow and with round platforms if you try running jumps sometimes you start falling before you jump and get screwed. But that's just some of the challenge.

All in all fun, simple and addictive.
Keep up the good work. Like the music too, sets the mood well.

Glitch?

Sometimes orbs won't pick up, now I dont know if they are being "picked up" and scored but the image is not being removed or if they are actually not being picked up at all and are just sitting there.

It isn't consistent but seems to happen more frequently than it should.

Otherwise, good game.

Perhaps an objective...

Good idea, good implementations but no point?
As you are likely aware most games have either levels, a points system or at least some kind of challenge.

Thank you for the advice, I am planning to make a sequel to this game with lots of extra features.

Music.

Music is a must must must, without music you can't players to stick around long, any kind of sound takes away from monotony.
Otherwise, decent game... Ship movement is a bit slow you almost need to be bale to predict the random bubbles to stay alive. Perhaps you should also add more weapons (or at least a faster charging laser, or a bar that tells you how long you need to wait till its ready again -- helps to judge shooting better).

All in all, potential is there, just needs some tweaking. All of those things you are mentioning are very good ideas and will greatly improve the game.

I did try to put music in there, but the whole legal thing got me worried. Rest assured though, I have found someone who just might compose music for me. Keep your hopes up.

Great Game

Great game, i like the play style I like the feel and I even liked how difficult it was. Just one thing though, once you manage to build a few towers (in fact you only need four per side, if you place them right, but you can tower hop when you start). and get a bunch of max upgraded archers it turns into a slaughter house, I sent 4 waves at me at the same time at the end and they just became piles of blood in seconds. All I had was 4 packed towers of level 5 archers with max weapons and 1 horse, 1 spear and 1 samurai (which were maxed, but I old use them to lure the enemies away from my towers).

Over all a nice game but definitely thinking something went wrong at the archers in towers onslaught. Perhaps limited numbers of archers in each tower?

zupagames responds:

Thanks for the advice. Tomorrow I will limit the number of archers per tower. I will also be making the easy mode easier.

Good Effort

Nice efforts on this, a good concept and somewhat decent implementation. As has been suggested it has lots of room for improvement. Some suggestions that I don't think have been made:
1. More Difficulty Factor. Perhaps if you add levels make it so that in each level some things change like faster falling notes, colour changing background (very distracting, especially if the notes are coloured randomly and sometimes blend). Possibly even homing notes that move around until they are about 3/4 down the screen and then fall straight at where you were at the time, or notes that fall in a sinusoidal wave patter (waving down), just to add a more random element.

Sa'll I got, more power ups would be great and a level system would be better than a level select (maybe level select as you beat levels). You can still have "Easy" "Medium" "Hard" but just make them have varied songs, power ups and effects on the notes to add challenge as the game progresses.

All in all, I look forward to a future version. Keep up the good work!

Alright

It's alright, a good effort but again the graphics could use some work, and the questions were fairly easy. But good, for a quiz game.
