Either ENTER or good timing

Having to click on text to advance the movie is really irritating and I think everyone that submits movies with that 'feature' get blasted for it so here I go.

Not a good idea, other options include: Having ENTER advance text, voice acting with subtitles or just timing the text appearance and disappearance well.

Also, would be a good idea to put the text in a uniform location and just have different colours for the characters or maybe show their faces beside the text as they speak or something. It's easier on the viewer not to have to look around, especially when you have to CLICK on the text to advance the movie. Gets irritating when you cant leave your mouse in one corner and just tap the button.

Tween help

To stop the breaking in the tweens (as you are using shape tweens) use shape hints. You can place hints either by hitting Shift+ctrl+h while on the first frame of a tween or select it from the Modify->Shape->Shape Hint.

Then go to the last frame of the tween and place the second parts of the hints. They are lettered so you can tell which ones correspond to which ones.

I would advise googling and finding out more that way (my explanation will be crappy without a video to show you what I mean), [if you want I can upload a shape hint vid, but I imagine tons already exist].

Also, this is an alpha and prolly should have been submitted there.

At any rate, if you put some effort into it, make use of shape hints (or animate Frame by frame) then this looks like it will be good.

Oh, one last thing. Your words flip by a bit on the quick side.

Lovin' the variance. Good stuff all around, like to see them dailytoons, look forward to them. But when you have them "play all" things may be nice to have a "skip this one" button, especially when you're playing "best of" like this one cause I had seen some of them and well one times enough :P.

[Too Much Chainmail]

Great Film

Well animated, very funny and a good conclusion to the series. To be honest the character design isn't *THAT* bad, it's quite nice in my opinion and it fits. I like that you can make this in 11 hours as well, kudos to that.

It's good that someone made some video in response to the chainmail of doom. Otherwise it would just have been worthless crap filling up space in reviews and irritating people. At least now we got 3 good shorts out of the whole ordeal!

But seriously, fantastic job on both parts- animations were clean, smooth and very well done. Voice acting was fantastic and well varied (if I wasn't told I wouldn't have known it was only one voice).

Overall funny, I liked the transitions and even the credits were funny in their own way.

A wonderful end of summer block buster that every flash critic and patron should make 5 minutes for this fall season.
Cartoonist worldwide would likely give it three thumbs up (being cartoonists they drew extra thumbs on themselves just so they would be able to rate this movie!).

Fantastic

Wonderful job, it was quite funny I got a good chuckle out of it. The animations are clean and smooth and man those titiles at the end are slick *wink* .

Very very nice, I like the whole surprise at the end with the meteor, awesome job.

One thing though, the guys legs (when walking sideways) appear to be rotating not stepping (like his left foot always steps forward then his right foot becomes his left and steps forward) watch it again looking for it and you should see what I mean.

Good efforts

Good efforts, but as said before titling him on the slopes would be smoother and possibly a 'bounce' animation for when he hits the springs would be nicer too. Otherwise good short.

Awesome Job

Fantastic animations, smooth transitions and good choice of music. It got a little long feeling in the middle ish, although something was happening it still felt a bit slow, but still very good. Keep up the good work!
